David Sera is now 3rd on the all time winners list in Australian Karting with 12 National Titles to his name, 3 ahead of V8 Supercar driver Mark Winterbottom and karting star Matthew Wall. In addition to this is 44 State Championships and success on three separate continents; Australia, Asia and North America. David has further cemented a profile as a world leading karter with three appearances in the world finals. This included a pole position achievement in the 2007 event held in Dubai.
David has represented the Arrow Racing Karts team across the world having raced in the USA, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Japan, Dubai and Malaysia. His national and worldwide success has resulted in media coverage including articles in The Herald Sun and The Age newspapers, Motorsport News, Auto Action, Channel 10 News and Sports Tonight and One HD.
His recognition from Australian karting as the Nation’s best karter in 2007 and 2009 drew the attention of front running V8 Supercar team Kelly Racing. David has subsequently signed with Kelly Racing on a multiyear agreement in a driver development program that Sera hopes will progress him to senior V8 ranks in the coming years.
